    Drugs? Lunacy? Society? Guns?
    We have the records. Look over them. How many instances like this happened during the two hundred and fifty years prior to 1960. There were lots of guns around, especially during the 19th century. Did America experience school shootings then? I’ve looked; there is virtually nothing. There have been changes in America beginning in the 1960′s that have culminated in murder in a grade school. The cause here is not the guns or the availability to them; it is the the people. Find the societal changes that have changed people into cold uncaring, unrespecting animals, correct those changes and the killings will stop.
