(Kyle Becker)  When the president surrounds himself with children while giving his announcement that reasonable gun control measures are necessary, bear in mind that those ‘assault rifles‘ the government is sure to be going after were not even used in the Newton, Connecticut elementary shooting.

As NBC admits in the video above, four handguns were used to carry out that despicable atrocity. This directly contradicts other reports.

Pete Williams, who is NBC’s chief Justice correspondent, reported the following in the video posted above:

This continues to be a very complex investigation and there is a lot of contradictory information out there, but we have some new information this morning (one month ago) from a couple of federal officials and state officials.

They say now that there were actuallyfour handguns inside the school, not just two as we were initially told. Four handguns and apparently onlyhandguns that were taken into the school.

We knew that Adam Lanza, the man said to be the gunman here, also had an ‘assault-style’ AR-15 -style rifle that he had had taken to the school, it was in the car he drove there, his mother’s car, but we have been told by several officials that he had left that in the car.

The correspondent makes it clear over and over again that he confirmed this information with federal and state officials. Now, a lot of media reports contradict this one, but somebody’s lying.

The report that an ‘AR-15-style’ assault rifle was in the trunk of murderer Adam Lanza’s car is up for dispute as well. If one examines footage from police breaking into Lanza’s car, one sees police clearing a round from a “long gun of some type” that does not appear to be ‘AR-15 style’ or ‘assault-style.’

Whether or not the mainstream media are intentionally spreading disinformation about the Sandy Hook elementary tragedy, there is one thing for certain: not only are violent crime rates at a modern low and going down, but only 323 homicides were committed by rifles in 2011.

That includes hunting rifles, assault rifles, military style rifles, semi-automatic rifles and whatever label one comes up with, regardless of magazine or clip capacity.

In a nation of 311 million people, the odds of being killed by a rifle is about one homicide per million people, which is far less than the odds of being murdered by a blunt object. But we don’t hear the media arguing about regulating hammers and clubs. Again, when 99.7% of registered gun owners are law-abiding, gun control is not about guns, it’s about control.

Editor’s note: The language about the weapon in the video was altered to reflect that it is speculation.

As stated in the first video, there IS contradictory information regarding the guns. According to the crazy M.E. (his interview took place in the afternoon of December 15th), the “long gun” was used exclusively. Also according to the M.E., each victim was shot at least three times. This is remarkable marksmanship, and I have not seen this particular point discussed much. I realize hitting kids in a classroom seems a little like “shooting fish in a barrel”, but the kill to wounded ratio in this incident is NOTHING like was seen at Columbine, Aurora, or Virginia Tech…and handguns are even more difficult to aim accurately than rifles, if that’s in fact what he used.

Where’d this kid get his training? XBox? Speaking of, there’s so much talk about how Adam was “off the grid”…I bet he had an XBox gamer-tag. Haven’t heard about that, either.

Could be a whole host of reasons but the main one seems to be that he suffered from some sort of mental illness which wasn’t addressed by his family right away.

The other thing that stands out is the mother’s responsibility. Knowing your son’s mental problems, was it wise to have various weapons in the house and take your son for shooting lessons? Duh… NO!

Violent video games must have an affect on his metal stability. Simple… for decades experts have warned us about TV being junk for the mind. Imagine playing killing games for ten years straight, 4 hours a day.

      The United Nations and Obama

My gut feeling is Obama has admitted to being a global meader and he and Hilliary are pushing through a liberal America a U.N. global agenda that is based on taking money and freedom from ALL countries to empower the few, such as George Soros. Guns, global warming, food, energy, etc. I’m not a nut but just go
to the U.N. website and view programs like Agenda 21.

PEOPLE SHOULD BE OUTRAGED!!!!!!WHERE IS THE OUTRAGE!!!!!!!

Don’t you idiots realize the people find this stuff and then post it on Facebook? Now people think this is actually true information. You are showing a video clip from December 15 when it is now a month later and we now know that the shooter used a Bushmaster XM-15. Or is the truth just too inconvenient for you?

    • Marvin

We don’t “know” anything of the sort. We are still having to rely on the limited fodder we are given. There are just too many inconsistencies with all of this to be able to vette it as fact. I want to see some of the school videos, and I would like to see a 2nd independent autopsy report. I would also like to know more about the man arrested in the woods after he ran from the police at the school. Don’t take everything at face value here, there’s a lot more to learn.

I like how this video clearly shows a shot gun from the trunk… NOT the bushmaster that WAS found in the school….is no one actually paying attention here????

  • Boog E mann

Doesn’t it seem strange that there was not a single non fatal wound? Twenty Eight for twenty eight is just too much coincidence.

    • GreyTreed

There were two people injured actually but I do think that seemed very low for something of this magnitude!!

WOW do you realize that when you ‘plant’ false information gleaned from very preliminary and subsequently discredited reports of an event, like you are in this article, you are no better than the Big Bad Wolf that you are so ignorantly trying to ‘protect’ people from??

This ridiculous conspiracy culture creeping into the mainstream (at least of the right wing) of the internet and beyond, generally perpetrated by people from my generation, is Intellectually bankrupt, rarely EVER logical and honestly just embarrassing! Stop wasting your time on such ridiculous, over the top BS and focus on some of the ACTUAL instances of cruelty and greed intimately affecting REAL people everyday!!
