Pennsylvania senator to introduce resolution calling Congress to repeal the 1986 National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act

Sen. Mike Folmer of Pennsylvania believes strongly that parents have a constitutional right to informed consent, especially in regards to vaccines. And that is why he announced on January 3, 2018, that he will be introducing “Informed Consent” legislation which would require that patients and parents be given information regarding the risks and (supposed) benefits of vaccinations.

He also plans to introduce a resolution to Congress that would repeal the 1986 National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act (NCVIA) which gave vaccine manufacturers absolute immunity from being sued when their vaccines cause serious harm or death. The senator rightly feels that NCVIA “limits our ability to refuse vaccinations and violates the 5th Amendment of the US Constitution,”1 which allows injured parties to seek due process under the law.
